Webster’s Online Dictionary - the Rosetta Edition is an ultra-unconventional dictionary for which not even Noah Webster could provide a good definition, but which he certainly would applaud. This dictionary is not for the average college student, or for the average secretary, or for the average lawyer. It is for those who want to know as much as possible about words, their origins, histories, meanings, uses and misuses; written, spoken and graphical representation in many contexts; and formats, cultures and languages. As opposed to some wiki projects, this dictionary meticulously acknowledges all of its copyright-clear entries under the impressive editorship of professor Philip M. Parker.
