Dear Imagine it Conference Participant,

It is my pleasure to welcome you electronically to the Imagine it Conference, the first-of-its-kind event dedicated to imagining, exploring and creating engaging customer experiences in the quest to design innovative libraries of the future. The conference planners have designed the conference to provide you with a total immersion in the imaginative process, engaging all five senses in a variety of interactive learning experiences. We look forward to meeting you on May 18.

Logistical Information
We have reserved a block of single rooms for participants Sunday and Monday nights at the Cerritos Sheraton Hotel, 12725 Center Court Drive, 562-809-1500. The hotel is located .9 miles from the library; it takes less than 10 minutes to walk between the two.

RESPONSE NEEDED RE HOTEL INFORMATION
Please confirm your hotel preferences by responding to this email: the hotel needs to know your arrival and departure dates, your choice of smoking or nonsmoking room, king size or double beds, and desired checkout time if later than noon on Tuesday. If you want me to convey any special needs requests to the hotel, please include that information as well.

IF I DONT HEAR FROM YOU BY APRIL 4, I will list you on the hotel registration roster as arriving Sunday between 2 and 3 p.m. and departing Tuesday, nonsmoking room, king size bed, and checkout by noon on Tuesday.

Conference Online Information
To continue to keep you excited as well as informed about the conference, a number of features at the conference website, http://www.imagineitconference.info will be updated often. We hope you will be a frequent virtual visitor.

If you haven't already sent us your photo and bio for the conference yearbook please email them to me at

We consider the conference to be an evolving event with you as key collaborators in the quest to design innovative libraries of the future, so be sure to let me know if you have questions, comments, and/or suggestions to help us make the conference more valuable for you.

Your Comfort
Your comfort is a high priority at the conference. Since segments of the conference will involve walking on stone floor around the library, standing and sitting on a carpeted floor, we suggest you wear casual and comfortable clothes and shoes.
