Workshop Description: An intermediate/advanced workshop on Web searching techniques using search engines and directories to locate information and specialized databases on the Web.

Who Should Attend: Reference staff and others working in California libraries who use the Web to answer questions or for research. All who are interested in improving and expanding their Web searching techniques.
Prerequisites: PowerSearch.1 or the equivalent experience with basic Web search engines and directories, and critical evaluation methods.
