Feeling behind the times? Feel like everyone understands the Internet but you? In this all day hands-on workshop you will get a brief review of Windows skills necessary for navigating the Internet and then jump into the nitty gritty of the Web to learn about:
- Web terminology
- Identifying parts of a Web browser window
- Internet addressing
- Web navigation
- The best tools for searching the Web
- Adding and using bookmarks
- How e-mail works
Who Should Attend: Library staff who work with the Internet in any California library.
Prerequisites: This workshop is for Internet beginners. Those attending should be comfortable using a mouse.
Please Note: There is a $75.00 fee for this workshop. Infopeople does not provide parking passes, lunch, or refreshments.
