Pam Alger
I have worked in the public library setting for over 15 years. For the last 5, I have worked with the Azusa City Library in the Adult Education and Literacy Services area. In 1997, I began Senior Connects a computer training program for Azusa seniors. Last year, attendance at these workshops was over 300.
My experience includes over 17 years as a trainer. In addition to job training instruction and literacy training, I have developed materials and provided computer training for Azusa staff, seniors, and Southern California Library literacy coordinators. I am particularly interested in the use of computers for collaborative work and distance learning.
I received my MS in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco in 1981. Currently I am working toward the Microsoft Systems Engineer Certification.
