Greg Sorini

Greg is a research librarian at QUALCOMM Inc., a telecommunications company in San Diego. He does business and technical research in support of several QUALCOMM business units and is also involved in end user training for library resources. He graduated from San Jose State University's Southern California Library and Information Science program in 1997. Through his research work, He's spent many hours reformatting search results in MS Word and love to find new tricks to use in his work. Before doing primarily research, he supervised the Technical Services staff at the QUALCOMM library and designed the interface for their online library catalog.

He's been involved with the Infopeople program since 1996 as a lab assistant and is happy to now be involved on the other end of the project as an instructor.

Previous to his library experience, he had another career as an animal trainer. He spent his time presenting shows and hosting informal educational discussions about birds of prey and marsupials. Just a little bit of a change now.
