Ruth Gooley
Ruth Gooley has an extensive background in language acquisition and second language learning. She has been the adult literacy librarian for the Los Angeles Public Library since September 2003, a position that enabled her to purchase materials for patrons with limited English proficiency for 16 literacy centers throughout the city of Los Angeles. In addition, she has taught English as a Second Language and French for many years, both in the United States and abroad. She got her MLIS from the Fullerton campus of San Jose State University in 2001. She also has advanced degrees in the French language and literature from UCLA.
Ruth has taught 4 classes from 2004 through 2005.
