Ann M. Seidl

Ann M. Seidl received her MLIS from the University of Denver, with a concentration in Geographic Resources for the Information Professional. Seidl was the Associate Director of the Library Research Service at the Colorado State Library from 1997 to 1999. In 2000, she began her own library consulting business, Information, Managed, where she provides research, consulting and training products and services to a wide variety of library clients. Her recent professional activities include user surveys in Gainesville, Florida, focus group research for Florida State University, library statistics for the Kansas State Library, library staff training for statistics software, and customer service workshops in Lexington (KY) Public Library, as well as web content development for a Colorado-based online library. Seidl's consulting specialty is in applying Geographic Information Systems (GIS) mapping and analysis to library decision-making.
