This is NOT the normal locaton for classes at the State Library. The meeting room is on the fifth floor, Room 500.
Parking
The closest public garage is at the corner of L Street and 10th. The entrance is on 10th between L Street and the K Street Mall. It is 2-3 blocks from our location, 900 N Street. Rates are $16/day. A privately owned parking garage, Central Parking System, is located on 9th and L Street. The rates are as follows: enter before 9am - $8/day max., enter after 9am - $12/day max. Driving Directions
From the Bay Area: Take I-80 E towards VALLEJO/SACRAMENTO. Take I-80 BR/US-50 E/CAPITAL CITY FRWY towards SACRAMENTO/SOUTH LAKE TAHOE. Merge onto I-80 BR/US-50 E/CAPITAL CITY FRWY. Take the JEFFERSON BLVD exit towards DOWNTOWN SACRAMENTO. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. Merge onto CA-275 N. CA-275 N becomes CA-275 N/CAPITOL MALL.
From the North: Take I-5 S/CA-99 S. Take the J STREET exit towards DOWNTOWN. Merge onto J ST. Turn RIGHT onto 9TH ST. Turn RIGHT on Capitol Mall.
From the South: Take I-5 N. Take the J STREET exit towards DOWNTOWN. Merge onto J ST. Turn RIGHT onto 9TH ST. Turn RIGHT on Capitol Mall.
