You are here

Google has done it again with a neat new feature: It's still in beta and doesn't work with all browsers yet (you need to use IE 5.5 or higher, Netscape 7.x, Firefox 0.8 or higher, or Mozilla 1.4 or higher). You start with a map of the U.S. and can type in an address for anywhere in the U.S. and you get a detailed map of the location and an option for driving directions, or click and drag the map of the U.S. around and zoom in on locations that way. You can't save locations yet, but Google says they're working on it. I had fun typing in my family's and friends' addresses (they were all there and accurate!) and then tried zooming in on Alaska on the map and ended up somewhere in the Bering Sea. Anyway, take it out for a test drive!
A tug of the forelock to Research Buzz for the link.
