In the spring of 2009, Infopeople experimented with a new method of gathering needs assessment data, utilizing the crowdsourcing tool Ideascale.
Library staff could access IdeaScale from March 23-April 10, 2009. They added ideas, made comments, and voted as often as they wanted during this period. By the end, we had 236 registered users, 115 ideas, and 2899 votes.
