Jacquie worked for the Escondido Public Library as Literacy Coordinator for 9 years before coming to work at the California State Library in 2005 as a Library Programs Consultant. In her work at the State Library, she helped to support the 100+ California library literacy programs, developed and coordinated with other State Library consultants a number of statewide LSTA grant projects including workforce development and library outreach to veterans, and monitored numerous LSTA projects.

Jacquie retired from the State Library in 2012 and began working as an Infopeople consultant. As a contract consultant, she provides technical support and consultation to libraries who receive LSTA funding. She is currently working with Pacific Library Partnership on a California Volunteers/AmeriCorps Planning Grant to develop a full AmeriCorps program that would support and expand the Veterans Connect @ the Library LSTA project
