Laura Olson, a youth services librarian for Douglas County Libraries in Colorado, has over 12 years with libraries: half in public libraries and the other with national library networks. She has created yoga storytimes and classroom read-aloud programs, performed many literacy-based storytimes, received her MLS from Emporia State University in 2010, and currently sits on the steering committee for CLEL—Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy. Laura and her colleague, Laura Baldassari-Hackstaff, wrote an article on sensory-enhanced storytime that was featured in the January/February 2014 issue of Public Libraries.  They presented sensory storytime sessions for the CLEL Annual Conference in 2013 and the Public Libraries Association conference in 2014.
