New Tools for New Voters and Busy Voters from the Easy Voter Guide Project
Friday, October 15, 2010
The November 2, 2010 statewide election is just weeks away and many voters have already received their ballots in the mail.
- New voters are confused about the races and issues, especially in a non-Presidential election.
- As the barrage of partisan advertising increases, experienced voters ask for information that provides "just the facts."
Whether a new voter or a busy voter, those who find out about the user-friendly nonpartisan tools of the Easy Voter Guide Project are so appreciative.
Learn about the NEW "all in one place" resource center (www.easyvoterguide.org) that has new videos, updated handouts and helpful links – all based on what diverse library patrons and community members have asked for. Hear about ways that different libraries are using these multi-lingual, multi-media tools to help people in their communities become more confident, more informed voters.
This webinar will be of interest to reference and information staff and those involved in outreach services in California public libraries.
Webinars are free of charge and registration is only done on the day of the event on the WebEx server. No passwords are required.
