Ana M. Storey is Managing Attorney of Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’s West Office. She oversees the legal staff of LAFLA’s Family Law and Consumer Law Units and co-supervises LAFLA’s Self Help Legal Access Centers. Ms. Storey joined LAFLA in 2000 as a staff attorney, litigating domestic violence, custody and probate guardianship matters. In addition to her supervisory work, Ms. Storey continues to litigate as well as to conduct extensive community education and outreach in English and Spanish, and to work closely with others in the legal community.She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School, where she served as President of the Women’s Law Association and also received the Dean's Service Award for her work in the school's Domestic Violence Project. She graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management.She is a member of the California State Bar’s Family Law Executive Committee and chair’s FLEXCOM’s Affirmative Legislation and Outreach Committees. Ms. Storey is President of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association.
