Fobazi M. Ettarh is currently the Undergraduate Success Librarian at Rutgers Newark. A school librarian by training, she specializes in information literacy instruction, K-12 pedagogy, and co-curricular outreach. Creator of the concept ‘vocational awe,’ her research is concerned with the relationships and tensions between the espoused values of librarianship and the realities present in the experiences of marginalized librarians and users. She has also created curriculum-based graded assignments in the K-12 and Higher Education setting. She has also worked extensively with facilitating groups of librarians in creating specialized standards and rubrics for graded assignments.
