Sue Kowalski is currently the middle school librarian at Pine Grove Middle School in East Syracuse, NY. Sue holds degrees in Secondary Ed--English, Elementary Ed, and Reading from SUNY-Oneonta and William Paterson College, NJ. She is 2003 graduate of the iSchool at Syracuse University. She is actively involved in NYLA-SSL, NYLA, OCMBOCES, NOPL Public libraries, Regents Advisory Committee (RAC), and AASL in varying capacities. Empowering student voice is always her focus and she works to do that through the iStaff library service program, library programming, and multiple channels in and through the library. Sue shares the power of how school libraries CONNECT to the school community and beyond and continues to grow those collaborative partnerships.
