Patrick Lloyd, LMSW was the first public library social worker in Texas, previously serving the Georgetown, TX Public Library and as Community Resilience Consultant for the Texas State Library and Archives Commission. He is a former co-chair of the PLA Social Worker Task Force. Currently, Patrick works as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Steve Hicks School of Social Work. Patrick has presented at the annual conferences of ALA, PLA, the Texas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers, and for information professionals around the country. He lives in Georgetown, TX with a grumpy beagle.
