Allison M. Fiscus is the manager of the Maumee Branch of the Toledo Lucas County Public Library system, where she has been employed for the last 14 years. In addition to her work as a public librarian, Allison was previously a Children’s Lead and Digital Lead at Barnes and Noble where she gained first-hand experience in the retail merchandising realm. She now seeks to apply her knowledge of visual merchandising strategy to the public library environment with the specific intent of increasing community knowledge of library collections and resources and improving circulation. When she’s not surrounded by books, she enjoys spending time with her husband, twin sons, and adopted dogs, and over-analyzing episodes of Game of Thrones. (Yes, she’s also read the books.)
