Barbara Klipper is a retired youth services librarian and mom of an autistic adult son. She started the Special Needs Center at the Ferguson Library in Stamford, CT, wrote Programming for Children and Teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ALA, 2014,) and coauthored The Secret Rules of Social Networking (AAPC, 2015) with Rhonda Shapiro-Rieser. She also founded the Autism Welcome Here: Library Programs, Services and More grant.
