Donna Corbeil has been a Librarian since 1987, working in California public libraries since 1991, almost 20 years. She is currently the director of the Berkeley Public Library. Previously she worked at the Solano County Library, San Francisco Public Library and Oakland Public Library, in a variety of positions. This included managing a branch and bookmobile, overseeing multiple branches in a county system, being involved in multiple building projects and managing a reference desk at a large central library. What these positions all have in common is a chance to work directly with public and support direct services to the diverse bay area community. She is a long time member of ALA and CLA, and currently is a member of the CLA Legislative and Advocacy Committee.
