Elizabeth Rood is the founder and principal of Learning Designs Consulting, a strategy group that partners with organizations and companies whose programs, products, or services seek to positively impact children and families. Areas of focus include out-of-school-time learning; early childhood development; creativity education; and STEM/STEAM learning.
Before launching Learning Designs Consulting in 2019, Elizabeth served as Vice President of Education at the Bay Area Discovery Museum and Director of the Center for Childhood Creativity. In this capacity, she had the great honor of supporting California libraries to infuse creativity in their summer learning and to re-imagine their school readiness efforts. Elizabeth comes to this work as a former teacher and principal, parent, and proud patron of the San Francisco Public Library.
