Holly Hinman was the Director of the Infopeople Project from 1994 to 2015 when she retired. She initiated the Eureka! Leadership Program in 2006, following an extensive evaluation and review of previous library leadership efforts in California and elsewhere.
Prior to Infopeople, Holly was the Library Director in Burbank, Library Services Manager in Beverly Hills, and, for 12 years, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Cooperative Library System (now SCLC). She was President of CLA in 1986. Her library career began at the age of 12 in a small library in rural Massachusetts, and her early professional career included work in public, academic, and law libraries.
