Jessica Moore serves as Immigrant Program Specialist with The Indianapolis Public Library. She is responsible for developing and implementing immigrant and refugee initiatives for the library system and staying abreast of changing demographics in central Indiana to cater organizational initiatives. She has more than 15 years of public service experience with immigrant and refugee communities. She previously worked in English as a New Language (ENL) and bilingual programs for the largest public school district in Indiana and assisted in the resettlement of refugees through a local resettlement agency.
Jessica previously served on the board of directors for the League of Women Voters Indianapolis. She currently serves on the board of directors for LifeSmart Youth and was recently selected to the DePauw University Alumni Association Board of Directors. She is a member of Leadership Indianapolis’ Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class XXXVIII and a graduate of Methodist Health Foundation Inspiring Leaders Program. She received her BA in Spanish from DePauw University and an MA in International Relations from University of Indianapolis with a focus on immigration and refugee resettlement.
