Kate Laughlin has worked in service positions for more than 30 years, including 20 years working in or with libraries on the front lines, in circulation and reference provision, branch management, human resources, staff training, and professional development. Kate has a genuine passion for service excellence and the strategic furthering of libraries and their missions.
Before moving into independent training and consulting in 2007, Kate was the Staff Training Coordinator for The Seattle Public Library. She has provided consultation and services for dozens of libraries in the Pacific Northwest and is a longtime member of ALA and the Washington Library Association.
