Kimberli Buckley is the Community Library Manager at the Concord Library, a very busy branch in the Contra Costa County Library. She has also worked in elementary and middle school libraries for several years and was a teen librarian for five years working with a diverse population of children and young adults.  Kimberli has always had a strong passion for crafts and activities and now as a library manager, she still continues to come up with unique and innovative program ideas.  She enjoys writing about crafts and activities for tweens and teens. She has been a blogger for the Programming Librarian and the YALSA Hub and a book reviewer for the School Library Journal. She also has her own blog Mrs. Librarian Lady’s Programming Secrets where you can read all of her programming ideas. Kimberli recently presented Celebrating Diversity and Multiculturalism through Crafts with her colleague Dunyau Maqsoudi-Moreno at the 2018 CLA Conference.  Their expertise in creating, planning and presenting innovative hands-on craft programs together has manifested from years of practice and successful and organized endeavors.
