Nick Martin has a passion for finding the intersection of emerging technology and social impact. Using his background in chemical engineering, renewable energy technology, and nonprofit leadership, Nick started as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Delaware Libraries in 2018, focused on emerging technology, namely artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and telehealth. The effects of COVID-19 have shown the importance of remote access to healthcare, and Nick has since pivoted to consulting mainly on telehealth and teleservices. He is now overseeing the first statewide library-led telehealth initiative in the country.
