Susie Quinn has over 15 years of experience in various aspects of web development. Her first taste in the library world was as a slide librarian at Scripps College; where she digitized their art history analog slide collection, as well as trained work-study students on the digitization process. After she completed her MLIS from San Jose State University, SLIS, she worked briefly at Southern California Library Cooperative (SCLC), as a Reference Librarian. She provided second level reference to member libraries, reference through Instant Librarian, and developed webcasts, highlighting SCLC’s webliographies. She also wrote monthly articles for their electronic newsletter on various topics of emerging technologies. She is interested in identifying, assessing, and implementing new technologies, and helping other librarians and information professionals in integrating them in their daily lives.
