Start Time: Pacific - 12 Noon, Mountain - 1 PM, Central - 2 PM, Eastern - 3 PM

Presenter: Amanda L. Goodman

  • Curious what user experience (UX) for libraries is all about?
  • Want to know how to make your website and facilities more user friendly?
  • Wondering how to provide great UX for kids, seniors, and those with disabilities?
  • Looking for techniques that are mostly free and time-efficient?

Join UX librarian Amanda L. Goodman to learn how to use usability testing to improve your library's services. UX is a multi-disciplinary field that focuses on discovering and removing barriers that get in the way of your users' goals.

By focusing on UX, you can help shape how users feel about your library. UX will also assist you with setting measurable objectives to get real results, and guide your decision-making on the library's priorities.

At the end of this one-hour webinar, participants will:

  • Be able to identify what user experience is and how it applies to libraries.
  • Be familiar with methods to test library websites and improve physical spaces.
  • Know how to articulate specific UX concerns related to children, seniors, and those with disabilities.

This webinar will be of interest to library staff in all types of libraries who work directly with the public and those responsible for the library's web design.

Webinars are free of charge, you can pre-register by clicking on the Register Now button (at the top and bottom of this page). If registering with less than 30 MINUTES from the start of the webinar you can join directly from the thank you page by clicking the Join Now button.
