Emerging Tech Trends in Libraries - Part 1

Like most of us, who pay even a little attention to recent developments in technology, you're likely overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information and progress. With so much coming at us so fast, keeping up is difficult. Business models are changing rapidly, mobile-first is becoming mobile-only, and social media is a maturing medium yet, even so, the rules are evolving.

In this webinar, we're going to distill recent advances in technology into some overarching trends that we should be keeping our eyes on. We can't track everything, but in this webinar we can pick out some patterns in what's happening around us.

At the end of this one-hour webinar, participants will:

• Be familiar with at least ten (10) emerging technology trends
• Know some key questions to ask when evaluating a new technology
• Be familiar with the Gartner Hype Cycle
